TRANSFORMED BODY

Our body is the vehicle that brings expression to what is alive in our mind and spirit. A transformed body is one that is not ruled by compulsion and craving, but is free to actively choose to make decisions that are in alignment with God’s Spirit. A transformed body stewards well every opportunity to grow stronger and more resilient in order to fulfill the purposes and plans it was created for. A transformed body is one that is set apart to host God’s presence and is ready to be used as a weapon of righteousness on the earth. A transformed body moves to the rhythms of grace and receives supernatural multiplication of its efforts as it rests in the power of God through surrender. STEP 1

PRAYER

If you choose to begin with surrender, grace is supernaturally imparted to fill in the gaps of your weaknesses, and strengthen your capacity for discipline. Surrender begins by praying that God's grace would align your thoughts, actions, and desires with His Spirit. If you would like to come into alignment with God's purpose and plan for your body, you can start now by praying this guided prayer of surrender below.

I CHOOSE SURRENDER 

 

Holy Spirit, I surrender ownership of my body to you. God, I desire to live in complete alignment with your plans and purposes for my body on this earth. I am clay and you are the potter. I give you permission to mold me into a temple of your Spirit and a weapon of righteousness through the living water of Jesus Christ. I give you access to solidify this mold in your refining fire. Lord, teach me how to use my body for these purposes every day. Fill me with your grace that strengthens me to stay disciplined and consistent in living out my destiny. I trust that you will provide me with the rest that my body requires to recover properly and create lasting change. Thank you Jesus that I fight from a position of victory and that the endurance gained through the fight is what releases perfection into my entire being. Amen!

Co-Lab means to labor together. Our coaching program is designed to take you on an investigative journey of learning, experimenting and maximally adapting your physical body in the support of community. You will co-labor within, with God and with others to strengthen every part of you. Our method guides you to commit to a three day per week resistance training program, supplemented by optional cardiovascular programming. 

STEP 3

ASSESSMENT

Assessment is where we take the time to be honest with ourselves on what is working well and what might need some adjusting. At the end of each month we will prompt you to complete your monthly assessment by reflecting on how far you have come and determining the areas that need attention in the coming month.
Progress is not limited to numbers and clothing sizes. If there is potential for tracking numbers to become an obsession or trigger we encourage you to track progress based on how you feel, consistency, strength gains, or the ability to complete movements you previously were not able to. The RMS BODY program encourages the collection of a few items prior to beginning in order to track your progress.
