Think of mobility training as strength training for your joints. Just like you wouldn't expect to build a stronger squat by sitting in one occasionally, you can't build lasting range of motion by passively holding a stretch. Real change happens when you load a joint at its end range — demanding strength and control in the positions your body has stopped trusting. When you do that consistently, your nervous system gets the signal that those positions are safe, and the restriction actually lifts. That's the difference between feeling temporarily looser and permanently freer.
Mobility training is built on 3 pillars:
Passive Range of Motion — how far a joint can move when an external force assists it. This is what stretching addresses, and it's only one piece of the puzzle.
Active Range of Motion — the strength and control you actually own throughout your range, especially at the very edge of it where your body is most likely to get injured.
Neurological Control — the communication between your brain and your joints that determines whether your body trusts a position enough to access it and your movement quality overall.
This really depends on two factors: how long you've been dealing with the issue and your age. A recent injury can shift within weeks if you're doing consistent work that address the area. A chronic pattern that's been there for years, however, will take longer — but it will change.
It's always important to consider how long it took to create the issue. Poor posture formed by years of sitting at a desk has changed the structure of your fascial tissues, muscles, and bones. It's going to take some time to reset all of the pieces, so commit to consistency and trust the process.
If you have a specific injury or issue you're trying to address, we recommend beginning with the problem spot protocols. The exercises within these are tailored to the unique issue you're facing. You'll be given a clear hierarchy of what to do first, second, and third, which will allow you to get the most out of your efforts.
The 30-minute classes are incredible if you want to address your mobility more broadly. Each class deep dives on one to two areas of the body.
These are designed more like a strength training workout. The class is uniquely designed to build on itself, increasing in intensity as you go.
For a specific problem spot you're trying to address, aim to do focused work 2–3 times per week, 15–30 minutes.
If you're looking for general improvements in mobility, we recommend one of two approaches:
10–20 minutes of mobility training pre or post workout.
Two full mobility classes per week.
Additionally, Controlled Articular Rotations (CARS) is designed to be done daily — think of this as your daily joint maintenance that moves every single joint through its full range of motion. This takes 10 minutes on average.
Absolutely. Mobility RX is designed to complement your existing training. Most people use the protocols as targeted add-ons and the classes on lighter training days or active recovery days.
Mobility RX is designed for all levels. You don't need existing flexibility — most people start here precisely because they don't have it. There will also be modifications within the protocols if you don't have the flexibility required to comfortably find the position yet.
Yes! If you are hypermobile (or as we say, hyperflexible) this is the most effective work you could do. The truth is, possessing a lot of flexibility without the strength and stability to match it makes us more susceptible to injury than if we didn't have the range of motion at all.
The protocols within this program are exactly what you need to build that strength and stability and make your body bulletproof to injury.
At a minimum, commit to three strength sessions per week. These are the non-negotiable foundation of every program.
From there, you can layer in mobility and conditioning to amplify your results. Start with what you can confidently sustain — even in a busy week — and build from there. Consistency first. Volume second.
For example:
Month 1 → 3 strength + 1 mobility
Month 2 → Add 1 conditioning session
Month 3 → Add a second mobility session
The goal isn’t to do everything at once. It’s to build momentum you can maintain.
Yes, absolutely. RMS is built for all levels.
Inside Foundations, you’ll get access to both a beginner and intermediate program. If you’re brand new to training, this is the perfect place to start.
Foundations is primarily bodyweight-based (with options to layer in weights) because learning to control your own body is the most powerful way to build strength safely. Machines and heavy loads can hide compensations. Mastering your movement first creates a foundation you can confidently build on.
Whether you're looking to train in the gym or in the comfort of your own home, Foundations is what we would recommend for beginners.
It depends on the program you choose:
Mobility RX → Yoga mat + 2 yoga blocks recommended
Foundations → Just a single mini band
Fluid Strength & Resilience → Full gym setup (dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, rack, bench, cables)
If you train at home, you can absolutely modify exercises based on the equipment you have available. We provide guidance so you can make it work with what’s accessible to you.
After four months, you can expect significant gains in strength, mobility, and movement quality. Most members notice visible changes in body composition and feel more confident under load.
From there, you have options.
You can progress into the next RMS signature program — each one is intentionally designed to complement the others and challenge you in a different way. While many members start with Foundations and build upward, others complete Resilience and then return to Foundations, only to realise how challenging it feels at a higher level. Beginner does not mean easy. Every program has progressions that will meet you where you are and push you forward.
You can also repeat the same program. Running it again with heavier loads, improved technique, and stronger movement capacity creates a completely new stimulus. You’ll still be challenged — just at a higher level.
For long-term progression, we recommend the complete RMS system. Together, the programs provide over 12 months of structured training designed to identify, strengthen, and refine different elements of your performance so you continue evolving without plateaus.
Inside every RMS signature strength program, you’ll get two optional 30-minute mobility sessions built into your week. These are structured classes that target specific body parts and help you unlock range of motion while building strength through that range.

Start here if you’re brand new to training, prefer to work out from home, or know you compensate when lifting heavier loads.
Foundations builds movement quality first. When you enroll, you’ll receive access to both Beginner and Intermediate tracks. Sessions are roughly 40 minutes and designed to help you master your bodyweight before progressing.
If you’re new to exercise, this is your perfect starting point.
